One need not go back to the 70's. Dwinelle was active when I trolling around out in Berkeley in the 90's! I have vivid memories of one stall with 2 holes on either side.

It was still active but it was a totally different atmosphere and scene before the renovations in the 70s and 80s. Had you been there during the years I was, no known force in the Universe could have gotten you to leave!
