Hi, there should be a lot of action this Fri-Sun. Since most of the guys competed in Latchford Classic last weekend, they are in great shape. Few of them would compete again in the upcoming wolrd Championship so they should return to the bar after viewing the competition. To be sure of course, book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Was in Tawan last Wednesday, the 5th. I have never seen so few customers there. Even at show time, not even half-full. They did however, have a good number of guys working. Meykin was the only "star" there. He did a brief appearance on the stage before the show, otherwise did not continually take a turn on the stage. He also didn't participate in the show at all. He usually does. Normally he's the one "star" that routinely shows it all.

However, the show itself was an abbreviated version. The entire thing lasted about 30 minutes. No "big cock" show and only two guys took part in the "jack-off" show. I was told that the show was shortened because "no customer." Hello, what am I?

Drink prices are up 300 THB for drink; off fee up too 500 THB now.

Personally, I think a sale would bring more customers, not higher prices. Cheaper drink prices would get me to buy more. You guarantee the customer is going to consider the drink his "cover charge" and nurse it. If the drinks were more reasonable, i'd buy more.

I realize these arguments are not new, and things aren't going to change anytime soon.

Also visited X-boys on Soi Twilight. I went with a friend otherwise, it's not a place I would have gone. The guys were fine, show was fine, drinks were 250 THB, don't know the off fee. The only thing I truly didn't care for was they allow cigarette smoking. Normally I would have just left when the smoking started, but since I was with someone, I stayed until after the show. The smoke is so bad, I left feeling ill.

The shouldn't allow smoking. Just comply with the law. The worse part was many of the offending smokers were staff. If you feel you need to break the law and allow smoking to ensure they have customers, at least limit the effects by not allowing staff to smoke.

I'm pretty sure 90% of the customers would nurse a sole drink for hours whether it was 300 baht or 150 baht.

Chaotou,

If it was the 5th, it was His Majesty's birthday. It would have either been very quiet or closed.

@Icon, you are probably right. But, if they were a more reasonable price i'd keep them coming. @Gaijin, it was the 5th, and I was surprised to see so much staff. I thought they might be influenced to stay home, but I didn't think it would have much effect on the patrons. However, it was dead!

Hi, Tawan Lovers. How is the bar situation now? I was told that nearer to Christmas, the business picks up, and can't wait especially next week after National Games, all the buff stars come back to shine. Any new bodybuilders there? I was told of some new show segment....

Went there 2 nights ago.. It was a slow night. The boys are desperate wanting to be offed. There are new faces but not at a superstar level. Disappointing....

I was there in September and I can say that the boys showed no sign of desperation to be "offed". They were often chatting among themselves or sitting alone texting on their i phones oblivious to everyone. They all seemed to be bored as was I.
