JOMTIEN - Dongtan beach ...

-- Last sat./mon. - 22nd./24th. Dec. - my two mature & Am. friends & I visited PATTAYA, (to make a short & well-deserved break from BKK.),:
- ETA.: approx. 221230.hrs., ETD.: 240900.hrs.;
- Weather sunny/bright and warm - most pleasant;
- On both days let's write that the concession that we patronise, opposite to TUI'S PLACE, was approx. 80%. full for both days - mostly with fettleibigen damen und herren - ugh:
- Quite a noticable change-over of staff there, who provided a generally efficient service;
- Not too much seen in the way of eye-candy;
- Several sellers of DVDs. but fewer selling porn. DVDs.;
- Usual numbers of little & olde ladies for manicures & for pedicures; several masseurs with familiar faces.

-- Rd. tfc. in general wasn't as bad as it might have been for the holiday/tourist season. Samlors' fares still at 10.Bh..

Bars the same

Spent a week in Pattaya before Xmas. Checked out the bars of course. Nothing has changed. Copa does the same cycle of shows they have been doing for months but at least some of the cast are attractive. A-bomb had some sexy boys as did Funny Boys and Toy Boys. Offed several from different bars including a threesome featuring a couple of guys from Eros (I think) in Sunee. Also had some success with a freebie via Gay Romeo. Overall, good value for money in Pattaya.

Didn't I read that the owner of Funny Boys offed himself last week? Or, one of the owners at least.

Yes, Icon, one of the partners of Panorama and Funny Boys passed away a few weeks ago. I happened to be in Pattaya that weekend and ran into a friend who knew him well.

I visited Pattaya in November and am going again in February.
Love the Dongtan beach and Im hoping to find plenty of eye candy in brief speedos available.
I also visit the Samsuk Sauna although in November there was building work in progress which restricted the pool area. However the upstairs darkened cruising zone with its Maze and cubicles was very much in operation. I dispensed with my towel in the maze and rubbed up against a Thai guy who responded with his tongue in my mouth and we proceeded into a cubicle where I fucked him.
In the evenings Sunee was rather quiet but I enjoyed visits to Eros and Happy. Eros has a few fem twinks one of which I offed 3 nights. I can confirm that Happy has an upstairs area for a more hands on experience, and only a tip for the boy is payable.
Many Pattaya boys are available from Gay Romeo but its more hit and miss than offing boys from bars as the photos are often poor and unreliable.

Officially he fell from a 9th floor balcony. Reportedly depressed over large debts owed to "friends". T.I.T.

Yes of course you would have previously bought a drink for yourself and the boy. Going straight upstairs would not impress the management !. Of course the tip upstairs would be greater than the one for just sitting downstairs with the boy. The is no "room charge"
Biggles
I'm afraid jumping off high buildings is common in Pattaya. Almost every week it seems to happen. Money worries is the most common cause followed by health problems afflicting older farangs.

-- From the web-site > The Baht Stop <, (if my memory serves me aright?), didn't his Thai companion run-up large & gambling debts wch. the farang was unable to meet?

-- I u'stand., too, that the portly farang left FUNNY BOYS several months ago - hence no more 'Boy Bingo.'.
- I've not seen any adverts. for FUNNY BOYS for some time in the various freebie & monthly mags., either.

"happy", "funny", "boys", "places" - too many bars, too many similar names, it is all so confusing!

I think it was Happy Place in Pattayaland Soi 2 that had Boy Bingo and the falung (portly or otherwise) recently handed over control to the Thai staff

-- Khun Bkkguy,

-- YES! You are 100%. correct - my error, mea culpa; apologies for any confusion. I'm pleased to confirm that the bar in question is HAPPY PLACE BAR - P'land. soi 2..

-- Sawatdee pee mai.

What gogo,s are currently open in Sunee ?. From my November trip I recall Eros, Happy, My Mic and Krazy Dragon. Is there anymore ?.
There was mention of Euro Boys reopening, but I think that's been the position for a couple of years. I used to love those white satin lace up briefs !. In Eros do the boys wear different kit depending on the day of the week from baggy pants to thongs ?.
I'm back in Pattaya during February.

There's one more near to Eros - the old Jimmy's rebadged as City Boys. Euro still closed , as is Tom Yum. Eros has theme nights about once a week (Tarzan, towel, briefs etc) which are always fun.

-- When my two friends & I were in PATTAYA recently on 23 dec. I took a walk around SUNEE PLAZA and noted -

1.- EROS, KRAZEE DRAGON, HAPPY BAR/BOYS, MIC MY and NICE BOYS A GO-GO BARS still OPEN. EROS was charging 100./125.Bh. for non-alc./alc. drinks, KD. had drinks' prices posted as 140.Bh. .
2.- LITTLE MANGO REST'T. was full - mainly mature farangs.
3.- But, overall, I didn't get the feel that SUNEE was all that bustling with life and busy for that time of year:

Today's BKK Post said inbound tourism is up again this year despite continuing falls in American and European arrivals (i.e. farangs.)
China, India and SE Asia all growing, but Sunnee was built on the gay farang trade. The locals farangs are literally dying out, tourism is down and BKK cops have been closing down the dubious bars, so I think the prognosis for Sunnee will be continuing run down and closures.
