Gay Dogging

Does anyone know of any safe (well, as safe as they can be!!!) dogging spots in the East Midlands area? I am particularly looking for gay spots where a TV/CD or two might be found.

I'd be grateful if you add any you know about to the Sex Listings if they aren't already on the site. You can use the 'Suggest New Place for This Area' link near the top of the page for whatever area it's located in the UK under United Kingdom: CRUISING for SEX

I've been adding some of the ones I see in the news. Even though I'm in Texas, some of the UK and Ireland news reports come up in a Google News Alert that I use. I've also seen a couple of the UK dogging web sites but haven't had time to really look at them for places to add to CFS.

Just an FYI, I'm also not sure if the way Keith had me set up the UK Sex Listings pages by county years ago is really useful. Perhaps it would be better to consolidate them into larger regions as well as metro areas. What do you think?

Re your last point, personally I prefer the larger regional search since I live close to three counties and it saves changing my search criteria. Perhaps a quick poll of the active UK members to find their preferences might be in order?

Thanks! Revamping the geographic categories probably won't happen soon, since I have so many issues on my plate. I can set up a poll now, though, so that members can show their preference when they happen to be on the site.

One of those pressing issues was the Sex Listings geolocation search which I had recently re-labeled "Quick Search" instead of "Search By Location." I don't know if it had been set up to work outside the US, but I had doubts based on the data table employed by the program.

The "Quick Search" started failing around October 16 after web browser updates, even affecting some mobile browsers. If you' haven't seen it, I've had some information about the problem here:

Last night I stayed up late working on it and came up with something close to a solution, but it's not quite finished and user-friendly yet. When I'm done with that programming I plan to upload replacement data that will include many other countries besides the US.
