Server Changes at CFS

This is just to let everyone know that the hardware which hosts the Message Board and Cruiser Gallery is being migrated to a new web server today. This also affects the login and logout process for CFS.

There is a change in the IP address associated with the new server. It should not make any difference in how you use the site and you should not have to change anything that you do now. However, if you experience problems please reply to this thread. I'll be checking on it as often as I can and will try to address any issues as they come up.

Thanks ~ Bob, CFS Editor

the migration doesn't have anything to do with this does it:
Database error
The CRUISING for SEX database has encountered a problem.
Please try the following:
Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
Open the web.cruisingforsex.com home page, then try to open another page.
Click the Back button to try another link.
The web.cruisingforsex.com forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists.

Thanks for asking. The migration for the web.cruisingforsex.com server was complete back on November 3. The problem you had was probably just a glitch. I'll check the databases today and see if they need any maintenance. Thanks again.

hopefully its just a glitch - pretty persistant tho.

I think I have it corrected now. The problem seems to have been related to the migration of our 'listings' server last week. For one thing, the Member Profiles are now displaying again.

If it comes up again, please contact me with the URL of the page so that I can view the problem. Although the software sends me an email when the database error happens, it doesn't include the URL. When I bring up the web page in my browser I can see the problem myself more easily.
