Scheduled Downtime
 

Our hosting company has informed me that there will once more be critical infrastructure maintenance at their datacenter which will cause our servers (and many other there) to be powered off. This means that CRUISING for SEX, CRUISING for ESCORTS, and our other related sites will be offline and unavailable for a few hours. Similar maintenance was done in late April and late June.

This is to take place at 2:00 AM September 8 in the GMT-7 timezone. For me in Texas, it starts at 4 AM.

The downtime is scheduled to last three hours, possibly less, and should be done by 5:00 AM GMT -7 The hosting company will be restarting our servers after the maintenance window and I will check on them myself to review and resolve any problems that might arise.

Although this will be in the early morning hours here in the US, it will affect our friends around the world at different times of day.

My apologies in advance for the inconvenience. Be assured that this would not be happening -- not just for us but also for many other sites hosted there -- if it were not absolutely necessary.

Folks, there were some glitches this time with a couple of the servers coming back up after the downtime last night. That included the one that hosts the main CRUISING for SEX home page and related pages, the CRUISING for ESCORT site, and some minor sites. The other server with problems was the one that handles banner ads for all parts of the sites.

Although I was able to resolve the ad-server problem quickly, I needed assistance from the hosting company tech support for them to make certain other changes to allow the main server to show web pages again.

In any case, the sites are running again and I appreciate your patience with the downtime.
