Asked a taxi driver if any massage by men places - he said many. First though took me to a guy standing outside the opera house with his motorbike - but not quite my type. He said massage place would be a bit dirty for me - I said would try. Took me to Ngo 52 Hang Bun - near Old Quarter. Had 3 early 20s guys downstairs - one greeted me from the taxi and took me upstairs. Room with sliding door and 3/4 high brick walls. Mattress on the ground. Went to the shower - mimed for a towel and got some soap and then a small piece of sheet to dry myself on. For Bangkok people - it is like Super A in appearance.

Had 5 minutes of having my back chopped and slapped before asked to turn over and then kissing, sucking and rimming. Seemed quite adament that would not stop until I came. Nice boy. Nothing had been mentioned about price so gave him VND600k (about US$30) Got a nice hug and kiss - so maybe too much. As about to leave another boy beckoned me upstairs and had similar and then boys seemed to be queuing up - after 4 had enough but three more waiting downstairs. One spoke a bit of English and said he was a student. The last two guys were a bit passive - tipped them less. Yes a bit dirty - but will try again.

Returned recently to this place again. Fortunately same boy I liked first time was at reception. Same thing happened with stream of boys after that. This time tipped less than before and seemed no problem. Some are students, one was working in an office nearby but just came across for 30 mins - interesting set up.

Third time to place mentioned above - was given 2 boys and had a good time but lasted about 40 minutes and then they demanded far too much money which rather spoilt it.

Just round the corned two guys were sitting on the street and offered massage with sex. Just off the street went up a vertical ladder into an attic type room that was just big enough for the mattress and fan. Had the thumping slapping massage - but for some time and then sucked each other.

Also went to Ami Spa (see Utopia). Saw about 8 boys there - all early 20s in my view. Was offered one that was not the most attractive but decided just to go with the flow for the first visit. Has about 4 rooms - the walls do not go to the ceiling and the doors have windows in but my masseur put the towel over the window. Was offered a bath to begin with which was lying on a table and being soaped and showered. No having to wear shorts or having towels placed in strategic positions. The oil massage was so so. Then shorts came off masseur and mutual sucking. I obviously over tipped at the end as was very thankful. Will be trying it again. For directions if you look at their map and with your back to the entrance of no 19 - across the road and to the left you will see a sign on the pavement for Ami Spa - down the passage way and turn right and it is a few doors on the left. The main road is full of street restaurants so very busy.

From the responses I have the feeling that VND 200k is the reasonable going rate.
