Kuala lumpur's hotels ...
-- Rather than highjack the BKK.-SHENZHEN thread with OFF-Topic matters I'm entering my query here, specifically as a result of Khun Biggles' reply, (that thread #34.), as obviously he knows KL. much better than I do, (my previous visit thither being some dozen or MORE yrs. ago.), -
- Should my Enthusiastic & Am. Friend and I decide to visit KL. during next year's Songkran Fest'l. would you please recommend any gay/gay-friendly hotels priced at a daily rate of around say MYR.100.oo. ? Being reasonably nr. to the 'action.' or its being reachable, there & back, by public tpt. would be a decided asset. - Thanks in advance. :) |

-- Khun Biggles.,
- Thanks for yr. reply - appreciated! - Yes, I can well u'stand. that you'd be enjoying Business Rates, wch - alas - this retired person would prefer not to spend, even for the three or four days of the fest'l.. My days of Business travel are long gone. - Well, I'll cast-around some of the other gay-sites and see what can be found. |
Nothing gay friendly really.Capital Hotel good location and wotif type site to monitor tarriffs.Swiss Inn ok too.

Great timing! I'm actually thinking of visiting Malaysia in 2011 and I'll be watching this thread closely.

I've stayed at number 8 which is located in the Bukit Bintang area. Gay friendly, definitely some gay staff and good value. If you choose to stay in a dormitory it's just 3o ringgit per night. If you want a large room with ensuite and the usual hotel facilities it's 135 ringgit per night. They have free wifi too! (Welcome to Number Eight)
I've also stayed at Seasons View - also located Bukit Bintang. Rates between about 100 - 150 Malaysian Ringgit per night. (Bukit Bintang hotel,Kuala Lumpur Hotel,Hotel In Jalan Alor,Hotel In Kuala Lumpur,Hotel In Bukit Bintang,Hotel Seasons View,Seasons View Hotel) Adequate accommodation but number eight is better! It's gay friendly....in fact they seem totally disinterested in what you might be getting up to in your room! |
