Cuffs bar in Silver Lake closing?
 

Has anyone else heard this rumor -- that someone has bought Cuffs and wants to turn it into a straight bar?

Say it isn't so! I've had SO many hot times there getting felt up in public. Woof!!

Well if the fact that their website is closed is any indication... www.cuffsbar-la.com then yeah there could be problems in the mix...oh yeah the fun I have had in that place...sigh, the men and Daddy nick spanking those boy's asses!!!

I really, REALLY hope it's not true. I've also had some great times there. It was the first gay spot I found when I first moved out to L.A. First we lost the two sex clubs, then a couple of good gay bars, now this. What's Silver Lake coming to, a straight community??

man I just about blew my load seeing that the place may still be hopping--used to have some great times there early on sat and fri nights:o

I have only been to Cuff's once and that was years ago.
Is it only open on weekends? Does it only get busy very late at night, like after midnight? Do they still sell only beer and wine?
