Spearment Rhino
 

Hey all, I was just wondering if the Spearment Rhino was still open and if so, how things are there? Is it as good as it was a couple of years ago?

Dead, no doors, no locks, does have GHs, but people just stand there watching you like dumbfucks on crack. Patrolled heavily by cops.

Yet another place that ***USED*** to be great.

With all that is going on in the world wouldn’t you think the cops would have something better to do than go after consenting adults in a place where only adults are allowed?

Yes, but it is more complicated than that. First, if the place is well behaved and discreet with strictly enforced no loitering policies--which means if you are told more than once to stop cruising the hallways like a bath house, you're kicked out.

Sadly, these places bring some of the wrath down on themselves by not running a strictly enforced policy that keeps the few who ruin it for everyone out.

What happens is that as the policies get more and more lax, more and more undesirable people start to literally hang out for hours, shoot drugs, prostitution flares up, outbreaks of Hep C and AIDS are traced back to a virtual shooting gallery with sex, and there you have it.

I've always thought that places like this could sell weekly private subscriptions with a dollar amount high enough to keep out transients, drug addicts, prostitutes, drunks and people who just continually cruise the halls for 10 hours at a time, who scare off all the clients anyway with their sad persistent fixations.

I remember back in the 80s and early 90s when places like the Mustang in Upland were really exciting to go to. Rarely did you have anyone cruising you, as most people were in it for anonymous voyeurism and jerk offs, of BJs. Most people didn't want to talk to you and if you walked away once, they left you alone. That all changed for some reason and it has ruined it totally for all. I think it just got to be more mainstream, which brought in more mainstream people.

You can't hardly go into a ABS arcade anymore without some foolio trying to talk to you or chat you up, "Want some head (licks lipps), Hey I wanna suck, show me your dick (walk back and forth past your stall 200 times in 30 seconds, then in the case of the Mustang, walk into your booth and pull out their dicks), lemme see it, nice cock, can I suck it, can I touch it," on and on and on.

Oh well. The masses get what they deserve I guess.
