Question about North Hollywood Spa
 

Hi -

I have never been to any bathhouse - but I find myself tempted.

I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the North Hollywood Spa and if so do they ever have theme nights or anything? Like Tuesday is for over 40...

I always worry that I will go to a place like that and it will be full of young gym guys that have no interest in a middle aged bear....

Also does everyone just wear towels in these places or can you keep your boxers and tshirt on? Seems like it would be strange to just hang out in a towel - but I guess if that is what everyone has on...

I have not been there in years, but I know they have a web site and I am sure that will tell you if there are theme nights.

Regarding the towel ... yes, everyone either walk around with a towel on or butt naked. The only time you see guys with clothes on is when they arrive and when they leave or if they are part of the staff. Trust me, if you keep your shorts and t-shirt on, you will be very conspicuous, and probably totally ignored.

towels are the norm ... get a cabin/room, strip, dim the lights, leave the door open as an invite.
