Thanks for remembering those good old days. Even before Keith passed away, we had struggled with the fact that a lot of the hookup action had moved first to Craigslist and then to the Apps. We couldn't really compete.

With our limited budget, CFS is really more of a supplement to the other sites and Apps, although we believe we have the largest directory of "cruisy places" anywhere and we don't require people to register or to pay to use it. That was the original purpose of the CFS going back to 1995.

Anyhow, I wish you luck! It's a great pic and I'd be in touch if I lived near LA. :D

As for CFS, I wish we could move faster on making the site more mobile-friendly, etc., but since Keith's passing it's really just me, along with a more limited budget than ever. I'm making slow improvements and I'm really grateful to everyone who's stuck with us this far.

And with a dick like that, I know I want you to stay with us.

I have not tried the Apps but as for Craigslist - most of the people there are unrealistic (300 pound 78 year old man with no money looking for a hot bodybuilder 18 year old) or just plain flakes.

I do think as time goes on some of the in-person hook up areas like are listed on CFS will make a comeback. Or at least I hope so.

I hope so, or perhaps they've never disappeared completely but received less attention. Certainly the bar scene has declined. I always did better seeing guys in person.

I've noticed the Sex Listings these days sometimes having more reviews from younger guys, not to mention the more diverse demographic of bi guys, straight-identifying guys, transgender people, couples, kink-oriented people of whatever identity, and so on.
