I have not logged in here in a while and it seems to be almost dead....

That's too bad, use to be some great times found from here. :D

Yeah it is -

I used to log in everyday but most of the time there are no new posts. I guess the days of people "chatting" on message boards are mostly over.

I suppose the hook-up aps have made a big difference. Then there are the boards fake profiles aplenty to try and lure into spending money.

It also does not help when a message board goes off line for several days as CFS just did. :eek:

It is all about phone now - the instant replies.

I guess I am very old school - I am nervous about downloading those to my phone!

The sites going down unfortunately does happen - gay websites do still get attacked and hacked by people who think they are fighting "sinners". One old message board I had been on for years got attacked so much by one guy they ended up giving up and shutting down.

Although not much happens here these days I am glad CFS is still running.

Sorry about CFS going down. I'm semi-retired these days and no longer able to manage CFS the way that I used to. A bigger complication is that I was traveling without my laptop. around Labor Day Weekend (Southern Decadence).

Basically, CFS is not run as a business these days. I keep it going as I can as a hobby and a service to all of you guys.

More than understood - it is a lot of work and these sites do not make the money they used to.

I just hate seeing how quiet it was because this was the first gay website I ever dared sign up for - although I was still nervous my ISP was watching and would put me on their "homo" list! ;-)
