naked camping in the desert
 

I remember hearing about a nude camping hangout in the desert. Anyone know about it? I'm hoping to be in the dersrt camping in a couple weeks, would love to find out where that place is.

what I recall from years ago (hearsay, never went myself), was there was an area where people just camped and it was like a "snowbird" nudist colony, with guys hanging out at one end of it. There was enough vegetation to make lsemi privacy, and it could be pretty hot action on a 24 hr basis. I guess it's all our dreams!!!

Try Saline Valley
 

Saline is an all gender, clothing optional (most people nude all the time)area with natural hot springs one valley northwest from death valley. The drive is a bitch but do-able in a vehicle with good clearance. 4X4 not required. There are straights, gays and the occasional family that camp in the area. The people that visit Saline are pretty laid back and run from business types to microbus driving hippie types. Saline is in Death Valley Nat'l Park, Camping is free with a 14 day limit and if you are somewhat discreet you can have a great time. I sure have!
