San Juan PR - Atlantic Beach Hotel?

Hey guys,
I'm considering a trip to San Juan. It's been a while since I've been there. I'm wondering about the scene, especially places to stay. Has anyone been to the Atlantic Beach Hotel recently? I read somewhere that the rooms are dirty and they don't allow visitors. When I stayed there before I had some fun times. I'd like to know if it has changed.

not anymore, is a family hotel now even thought the beach is still so so gay
