Imagine if some of us, living in the land of the free and home of the brave, could find the nerve to do what these Chinese gays did? To actually stand up as a group to the police and say we have a right to be in a public park like anyone else!

Unfortunately, the majority of gays I know shrink from publicity and would never have the guts of these guys. As I said before, few dare to speak up at public meetings when measures are being enacted to curb gay activity. As a result, there are fewer and fewer places to met up.
