Sad News: Cruisemaster Passes
 

It is with great sorrow that I announce that the Cruisemaster Keith Griffth passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012. CFS will continue as his legacy for our community. I will post more information here when available.

I never knew Keith, but his posts were always level-headed and informative. He will be missed.

Sad to hear he has passed. This site was an immense undertaking and he really created something outstanding.
May he find peace.

Thank you, Keith, for pioneering a website for gay men to meet other gay men. Without you, people would not know the hangout sites where gay men want to meet other gay men either to hang out, see the cruising areas and to hook up.
Thank you for taking the time to provide the opportunities for men to meet men.
And you were the first person on the Internet to provide that opportunity.

Over the years, I have read the emails that people have posted -- either to go or to avoid -- and I have posted the same because, I feel, that we all care about each other.

Keith, thank you for providing that avenue and being the Internet pioneer for cruising places on the Internet.

Your spirit, your drive, and your love will continue.

Thank for giving me the opportunity to meet other gay men around the world.

I have been an observer of Cruise For Sex almost from the time when it was first put up. Surfing the net in the mid 90's when I got my first computer, I ran across this simple one page post. It intrigued me then and I continued to check in whenever I had an opportunity. Through the years, my education in alternative gay sex was advanced through my visits. I followed Keith as he traveled the country giving wonderful stories of his adventures and posting warnings as well as enticements to visit various hot spots. His reporting was reliable, entertaining, and best of all available at no cost or hassle with unwanted solicitations. I came to see Keith as a cyber-friend who brought a continent and even world of sexual pleasures to my flat screen.

I am very sorry to hear his.

Although I never met Keith we did have a few "conversations" on some of the threads and his replies were always interesting and well informed.
