I'm a journalist working on a feature piece about the early days of the Internet, cruising, and the legacy of Keith Griffith. So far, I've made plenty of connections with web founders, scholars, and friends of Keith, but I need the real, raw stories of those that actually use the website.

Folks, I want to add that I've been in contact with Katherine in the last several days and I totally endorse her project. I think that Keith would have, too. If you have anything you can share with her, please do so.

As she says, you can be anonymous. You can use a pseudonym. You can even use your real name, as I intend to do. I don't really have anything to hide from anyone that I know of. And I'm old enough to quote the Countess De Lave from "The Women" - "La Publicité!, La Publicité!" - but in a positive way. I hope this will bring more people to visit and perhaps become frequent visitors to CRUISING for SEX and the related sites.

Bob, How did this work out? Did she do an article somewhere?

She wrote this The Rise and Fall of Cruisingforsex.com, a Digital Atlas of Casual Encounters which appeared in 2015. She didn't use much of what I gave her, although she did trace the history of CFS.

Lots of history. I graduated from SF State in 1978. Small world.

I used to cruise all the time in the 1980's & 1990's throughout poo trying all of New Jersey. Malls, rest stops, bars, beaches, colleges, etc.

loved cruising the nude beaches in the 80's and a couple of great parks. miss those days!
