New to the YMCA

Okay, so I just joined the YMCA a couple months ago. In that time I've figured out everything I've ever heard about it is true. So I'm here asking if someone could possibly explain how everything works for me. What are the secrest signs and such for the Y? I don't want to be disrespectful to someone who isn't cruising obviously. Thanks is advance.
