Staying at the Sheraton downtown on Monday night. Don't have a car; any suggestions for someone not familiar with town?

Take a little trip to Steamworks ....

From downtown -> Jump on the Brown Line to Belmont .... walk a couple blocks to the east to Halsted ..... turn left .... Steamworks will be down on your left.

It's an easy trip from downtown using the L Train

Versatileiam is right about Steamworks as a good place to go, but if you want to get there on the el from the Sheraton, you should catch the Red Line subway at Grand and State, and otherwise follow the same directions that Versatileiam gave. The Brown Line that was suggested above will also get you there, but the closest stop to the Sheraton is a lot further away.

You can also just take a cab, which will cost about $10 one way not including tip.

What is the Steamworks? Sounds like some sort of bath house. Any other sex clubs in the Schaumburg area? I'm in town Mon/Tue night and looking for some hot spots to play safely.
