Osceola is a quick 10-minute drive from just about all of Elkhart and most of Mishawaka. It's about a half-hour drive north of Goshen as well.

Yes. Although I live in Texas, years ago my ex and I visited his relatives in Warsaw, Indiana. I recall the ads on TV from Elkhart and Mishawaka. That's also when I learned the "Michiana" name.
