What should we all take away from the Larry Craig ruling this week from the Minnesota appeals court? Other than the obvious: don't cop a plea if you've done nothing wrong? Anything else that might be useful for guys out there?
It remains baffling to me that any judge or court would allow a person to plead guilty to what amounts to tapping your foot in a stall. I don't see the crime, nor did the cop really provide any indication of a real crime. Imagine if a trained lawyer/sitting Senator can be led down this path to admitting guilt for doing nothing, how often that must happen to other guys!
