if you're ever in the mid-coast area of maine , enjoy a day at reid state park in Georgetown, Maine !! just 15 miles off rt. 1 , from Bath and Woolwich bridge . turn at Dairy Queen . drive that road ( 127 s. ) about 15 miles to the main gate of reid state park . this place has two beaches on each side ... Todds Point has best showers with a cruisy mensroom ... the otherside , at Griffiths Head has better trails and great mensroom at the first parking lot on the left !!
