Visiting Guadalajara

I'm thinking to visit Guadalajara, but have some questions.

1) Is it safe to walk in the Historic area at night?

2) Where is the most popular bathhouse and what is the business hour?

3) Which bar or bathhouse has more chubby customers?

4) Do bars or bathhouses stay open during Christmas season?
