Art Cinema
 

Anyone, or any couples go here. This place has a good set up inside. It is dark....it is cleaner than the Fairmont but no one is ever there and i don't understand why. There is no hassle. I even saw a couple there the other day goin at it....she was moaning louder than the movie was. I have to say that i feel it is a better setup than the Fairmont.......it just needs some action. I would love to see some more guys and couples frequent this place

If you've read other posts about the place you would know the problem is the parking. Or lack there of. You have to park on the street and not real close sometimes, where as the Fairmount has their own parking lot. J

I have never had a problem parking there, I have always been able to park either in front of the place or on the side street. The parking at the fairmont is not all that great. I was there this past weekend and couldn't park in the lot because it was full and people were parked in such a way that other people couldn't get out. I can see how the parking can be an issue at the Art but it shouldn't keep people away, I don't think it is that big of a deal

Some people don't like the idea with walking down the street and going into an adult theater. (The Fairmount is 3 or 4 steps from the parking lot and you're in the front door.) And you can only get so many cars in front and on the side street of the Art Cinema. Then you have to park a block or more away. (Fairmount lot was full! That's about 24-30 cars! How far away would that many cars be at the Art Cimema? People park on the side street at the Fairmount when the lot is full.) Based on the condition of the place and the quality of the projection system, I agree the Art Cinema is better. But I think you'll find most of the issues people have is with the parking. J

The setup here is great and the management never seems to hassle anyone. I've never found trouble finding a parking space within a block of the theater on Franklin Ave. Try to park to the south of the theater. North of the theater and some of the side streets in the proximity have had a lot of muggings lately. Seems the crime has moved south due to the heavy police presence in the north end of the city (because of all of the shootings.) Play safe.

I have heard about this place. Can someone give me directions ? Is it in a really bad part of town ? Is it safe ? Do the cops hassle you there ?

What time they open to?

I may go tonight but it's 9:45 - do they still close at 10?
