It's no big deal and maybe I'm the only one to notice but why has the number of post everyone has over there under their screen name suddenly dropped dramatically?

I was approaching 500, ScruffyCub was close to 1000. What's up? Anyone have any ideas?

I bet the mods are cleaning up the site. getting rid of any older/unseen threads and that will cause the post count to drop.

Keith knows about it - but he is stumped. :( Not too sure what it is. (probably gremlins)

Glad to know it isn't a result of archiving or some other type of routine site maintenance. There's lots of message boards where post counts range into the thousands and archived messages do not detract from the user's status.

This still sucks, though. I hope it can be repaired.

Newbies can get a good sense of who has been around for a long time with accurate post counts.

And quite frankly, it was cool to see my own contributions accumulate. It felt like being a part of a community and I enjoyed the little proclamation which said I have been an active member and supporter of the site and it's patrons.
