Lingering Taste?

Am wondering if other guys experience this and if so anyone know why, but after i swallow a guys load, i'll usually do a listerine breath strip and then mouth wash when i get home and brush my teeth later. My question is why up to several days later do i still have the taste of cum in my mouth?
