Help got a "roid"
 

Guess what, i woke up the other morning with a small "roid" the size of a pea and it's real annoying. Are there any treatments that really work, herbal or otherwise other than going to a doctor and having it removed? Someone told me it will go away on it's own, i don't want to be out of action for ever or will I?

Look, I am not a medical professional but am just using basic common sense.

Nope, such little things do not disappear within several hours with the sole purpose of saving you a few $$$ and sending you back into the main arena...

You cannot be sure, what this whole little thing really is and even a medical professional would be ill-advised to give internet based diagnosis.

Which brings us back to the only right thing to do. Bite the stone, prepare your credit card and hit your doc. Shit happens and you have got to pay for it today. Some other guy will be on tomorrow.

For me, once a hemmorhoid comes on its hell until it clears 5-7 days later. My doctor told me how to prevent them, though, about six mos. ago and it's worked like a charm. I take a stool softener (100mg ducosate sodium, over the counter, one every day or so), and I haven't had a re-occurance since I've started. Good deal!

I use the stuff it back in and clench your buttocks method. Works for me and ANYTHING beats surgery. 3 days to 2 weeks and am all better.

Why would a stool softener be the solution for preventing a hemmorhoid? Preventing a tear in your ass, yes, but a hemmorhoid?

Because constipation leads to roids, so staying regular helps keep roids away.

Soak in a tub of the hottest water you can stand, for as long as you can comfortably stand it. Always works for me.
