Anal Question
Will it be obvious to my primarycare physician that I've engaged in anal? I'm closeted and although I would not lie if directly asked medical questions that would affect my overall health, I wouldn't necessarily want to draw attention to that part of my life.
So...is it easy to detect? Or is there a lot of 'wear-and-tear' that needs to be done first before it's noticable? (And I do play safe.) |
You should be totally honest with your doctor. If you can't afford to be with this person, find a new one. Any doctor worth their medical degree will respect your privacy (if only to avoid litigation) and would insist on total honesty. You can't expect good healthcare if you fail to tell the truth.

don't worry
I don't think that's the question he's asking.
It is my understanding and experience that it will not be obvious. I think there is a common perception that having anal sex will stretch you out and that anyone, with sufficient knowledge, will know, just from looking, that you have had anal sex. From my personal experience this is not true. Now I'm sure it you manage to get a fire plug up you ass the world will probably find out. But generally anal sex becomes easier, not because you stretch out but because you relax. So relax. |
Good advice, DickR. But he still needs to come out to this doctor or find another one who respects him for who he is.

Doc Matters
Yup. On both accounts.
If your position does not allow you to be perfectly honest with your MD, you have got a very major project at your hands... You need to change your life big time... KD |
