I have a question for all of you tops who give anal.

Does a condom decrease your pleasure to an unacceptable degree?

If not, in your own words, explain the difference?

Yes, unfortunatly. Condoms reduce my pleasure so much that I cannot maintain an erection for very long. Consequently, I avoid it. But being versatile, I enjoy getting a good fucking :D

Edit note: When I say I "avoid it", I mean being the top in this situation, NOT the use of a condom.

I am not an expert in the field - but in my opinion does it reduce the feeling? Yes.

To an unacceptable degree? No.

The safety is more than worth it - and on the plus side I last longer with a condom.

I am glad when I was younger I got to play bareback as it was fun - but not worth the risk today in my opinion.

Condoms reduce sensitivity just a bit so I have more staying power when on top using one...but not by a large margin. In my case, it's more psychological knowing that it's wrapped rather than feeling the intense warmth and my bottom's sensitivity when doing it raw.

It's important to know and understand your partner's wishes/desires/concerns about the risks involved. As other's here have pointed out.

Nope. Not at all.

Actually, quite to the contrary.

#1 Being wrapped gives me a sense of being reasonably safe, and of acting responsibly. I do not believe in regrets later but in doing the reasonably acceptable things in the first place.

#2 Even the best bttm dudes have erm, little 'accidents' now and then. Yeah, as we all know, shit really happens. Being wrapped makes it easier for both the bottom and the top.

#3 Putting on a condom can be a part of a cool, even bonding foreplay. The bottom dude knows what's up, (pun intended), and he also knows that you are acting responsibly and in his and your best interest.

#4 Once the going gets rough, condoms can reduce the friction a bit, and add up to some quality time in the zone.

It really all boils down to two things.

First off, it is your attitude. In this time and age, there is really no viable alternative to wrapping it up. So, you may just have the serenity to accept the things that you cannot change, and go with them.

Second off, we are all creatures of habit. Most of us needed some time to learn the ropes and get accustomed to sex in the first place. Doing it with condoms is just like wearing contact lenses: you need some time to get used to both handling and wearing them, too. But once you do, you stop sweating it, don't you?

I recently discovered the Trojan Ecstacy. I'm not huge, but am bigger than average. For a couple years now, I've been using Trojan Magnums because regular fit are just to tight for my taste. The Ecstacy is shaped more like a baseball bat, small at the end, but big and roomy at the top. A lot of condoms make the claim that they feel like nothing at all. Well, this one really does. My wife feels the same way, like I'm not wearing anything. :)

It also comes in a Magnum size, but I don't think I need that one :(

The only downside so far is they are more expensive.....about a dollar each versus about 35 cents for a regular Magnum. But well worth the price.

It does not decrease the pleasure while pounding him, but it takes away the pleasure of shooting into him. I compensate by shooting into his mouth or face, if the guy allows it. way back in the day in my circle of buds, condoms were for 1-not getting anyone pregnant (so not an applicable application for our interactions) , or 2- keeping the dick suckably clean for finishing elsewhere (gulp) hence easier cleanup. That ending seemed the preferred amongst the fuckers. Since "health concerns" were not on our minds back then reguarding condom use., I would guess the fuckers were not experiencing diminished returns with their use.

Sucking was very common with us - and always to completion. So on the occasions we did go all the way to fucking we always finished in the ass (as you say - this was before health concerns).
