Info on Korat
 

Any one been to Korat or can tell me anything intresting about the place /city . any bars/clubs/cruising spots etc. places to stay

I've got the same question - anyone ever go into the interior, away from BKK and the beach towns?

Sorry for the delay ... this is some information that I picked from a recent (May 2007) thai website, hope this helps ...
Gay host bar : Buddys Bar
52 Soi Lam Pru 2 (this soi runs parallel to Thanon Mukmontri and the bar should be located in line with the Ningnong crossroads, so that would be in the east part of the soi) ; very quiet bar with 4 to 6 boys, and it is a typical host bar ; some have said the boys here are rather agressive.
Others :
- The Mall shopping center along Thanon Mitraphap has many money boys ; the rooftop is said to be sometimes interesting
- Also boys everywhere near the Bung Ta Lua lake south of town, including many soldiers (the lake is close to a big military camp), but better not to go alone. Another AYOR place is the night bazar.
- Near Wat Phayap (northwest of the old town), you can buy boys for the night but choose very carefully
- No gay disco but the Living Bar has some gay people hanging around (in Boss Hotel near RCA, north of town)
- Fitness Center in the area of KS Hotel (more or less facing The Mall)
- Massage Place : Tawan in Pailin Square (could not find it on the map)

Korat last february
 

Hi llz,
i spend some days in Korat in February. I used the pool on the Mall. There are some cute thai-swimmers, maybe for more then only swim.... Also i walked on the night bazar, is it realy AYOR?
In the BIGC one horny thai-man want i follow him, but the toilets are to busy, and we are going to my hotelroom for a hot session.
