RAW Barraks ( SIN )
 

Dear world sauna lovers ,

Has anyone stayed at RAW Barraks of Raw sauna in Singapore ?

Would you recommend this place as a lodging ?
Any good ?
I might vist this sauna very soon .

Your comments would be appreciated . ;)

RAW Barraks

I have never stayed there but from visiting the sauna it looks like the only entry to the Barracks is up a narrow staircase from inside the sauna and the rooms looked a bit like converted rest cubicles - but I may be wrong

The information I got a few years back also said somthing like that .

If the room rate ( S$ 20 ) includes one sauna entry , it means
just have to pay only about S$8 more to secure a private space to just sleep in ( the sauna entry is around S$12 )

If it's like GSM sauna's guest house , it would be very nice though .

I saw the guest house signs at GSM last time I was there, and wondered what the rooms were like. Have you seen them, Ninja?

I just saw their website .
They look OK .

GSM guest house

They have a promotion room rate of only 690 Bahts ( single or W )
The room rate icludes one entry to the sauna and breakfast .

They said they would be happy to show us around the guest house , if we wish .

Regarding Raw in SG.
I've been to SG twice in the last 8 months.
As far as Saunas go, just go to Raw for the sex - not for decor, cleanliness etc.
My first visit was on a late weekday afternoon. The reception staff struck me as simply uninterested. Almost to the point of ignorance.
So I don't think accom. there would be first choice based on that initial impression.
Looking at 'Fridae' and 'SG Boys' that seems to be a similar reaction.
Of course, perhaps things have changed drastically since my visit in January.

Now TIGER AIRWAYS has special of one way to Singapore only S$9.98 ++till the end of Sept flights ( and the most flights at this stage )

So , many of us can fly there CHEAP , but accomodations are . . .:(

I think KL is definitely better value than SIN .

Barracks and sauna report
 

I have just came back from my short holiday in Singapore .

Yes ! I stayed at an Barrack room of RAW .
It was better than I expected .

Just to pay extra S$8 ( w/days ) , you can secure your room .
Barracks rooms are slightly bigger and brighter than their usual private cabins .
There are a bed ( not a mattress ) with a big drawer, high stand table , a pillow , 2 bath towels , pillow cover towel , a wall mirror , blanket , huge toilet tissue roll, some clothes hangers , a ventilater , 2 small bottle of d. water ( 500ml) , 2 condoms and small packets of lube and so on .
You don't use a locker , if you stay in a barrack room .
You can store even a big suite case under your bed ( who needs a big suite case to just travel between BKK and SIN anyway ? )

And 24 hour free internet access included .
And unlimited pass out ( with 3hrs till 6AM )

This is quite OK , if you stay only for one day .
But there are only 5 or 6 barack rooms( only 2 of them have windows ) , so if you want to stay there on a weekend , be there early .

There are many usual private cabins , so on a weekday , at least you can sleep in one of them , I hope .

I rarely found actions after midnight till 1PM next day .
They start around early afternoon , and finish the peak time around 8PM , I guess .

Many younger goodlooking Indian looking guys .
( also young sexy Indian looking staffs as well )
More ratio than OTOT2 In KL .
Some farangs and Chinese Singaporean customers .
I mean this place is really mixed .

But maybe usually this place is not like I experience this time ,
because I visted there just one day b4 of FULL MOON PARTY of TOWEL CLUB .
