Prakanong Theater Reopened?
 

There's a post on Cupidman's site saying that one of the Prakanong theaters ("the one up the stairs") has reopened, and that action is again happening there.

Does anyone know which theater, exactly, it is?

The one near the junction of Rama 4 and Sukhumvit was the only one where u needed to go "upstairs". (next to the closed deparmentstore ) That one was the first to close down. Donot think they reopenned?

Hmm...that was my favorite one. Will do some legwork to find out this weekend.

No I donot think its that one. I just drove by and the front is still closed and a mess. Also the one next to it - with the parking lot around it is I think not open as I see no signs on the building marquise.But I could be wrong as it went past quickly. Almost got squashed by a bus - pretty heavy traffic there. Can be the one on the oposite side of Sukhumvit closer toCarfour.Oposite that police boot.

OK, it's the Asia Rama that's re-opened. That's the one that is directly on the east side of Sukhumvit 71, with a stairway going up.

The crowd looked pretty family-oriented to me, and I didn't see any action. There were some lingerers in the toilet -- including one aggressive Chinese septuagenarian -- but other than that, I don't think it's worth going out of your way for.
