Election weekend bars open?
If I remember correctly, the bars are usually closed the day before (Saturday) and up to midnight on the day of, the Election which is Sunday 2nd April.
Any info on the rules for this one? Funny old country Thailand so very different from the UK where the bars are open longer on Royal celebrations and on Elections Days, historically, the Pubs were open all day to allow the candidates the opportunity to display their generosity. Don't make a fool of yourself on the 1st! |
I haven't heard about this election being any different from any other, as far as the bars are concerned.
