When I was there last december.. the Dark Room was no more....

Anyone with any updates?

Comming to Bkk next week....... Are there any updates on Freemans. Is it as good as it used to be?

Went there last night
 

The place was half full during the first show but most people left after the show. I went up to the darkroom after the show; saw only 3 or 4 guys lurking around.

It was my first trip there after their renovation. Now the place is better looking than DJ and the darkroom is located inside the 3rd floor toilet, very discreet. One surprise, there is no cover charge, but u will be escorted inside and presented with a drink list, alcoholic beverages are about 150Bahts each.

I just got an email (as I''m sure many of you did, from Thaiboy.net), describing the FreeMan Disco's Grand Opening. I'll post it at the bottom of this post.
A few questions: Is Freeman really open until 2AM, as is listed on their web site? I thought there was a pretty tight 1AM curfew around there. Also, anyone been to the new darkroom in the last few weeks? I will probably check it out this week Wednesday night the 28th.

I dislike Freeman and found the place not save in case of any accident, not to mention fire!

BKK and Silom offers better places, in my poor opinion

I went to Freeman on Wednesday night, knowing there would be a small crowd. There were only about 30+ customers there at about midnight when I arrived--there were 4 dancers in bikinis, dancing 2 at a time on the stage, with no drag show happening. Not sure if there is no "show" on that night, or if it's already finished?
Anyway, I headed up to the dark room and found only about 3 guys there.
I got 3 loads though. :) All of the guys were in their late 20s-30s, in decent shape, but nothing amazing.... still, I guess my standards aren't all that high!
Strangely enough, Freeman is really quite nice now--better view of the stage, very nice and clean toilets on 3rd floor, decent-sized darkroom, no cover charge, reasonable drinks (50 Baht for a bottled water--and they are aggressive when you arrive, but since there is no cover I think that is fair).... but almost no customers!
DJ Station, on a Wednesday in late June, was absolutely so packed that I headed out the door just after arriving--I couldn't make my way to the stairs! I just wasn't in the mood for the crowd. DJ is doing something right, and Freeman is doing something wrong, I guess....
