After 15 years as a "drop in" farang, I'd really like to get some basic converstional Thai ability. Any recommendations for a 2 week intensive Thai course in BKK , or other location?

Don't know about your specific request but most Council of Adult Education centres in Australia (you are from Sydney?) have beginners to advanced in the evening and Foreign Language Bookshop in Melbourne has huge boxed teach youself CD set.I am told though that Thai is a subtle and not too easy language to learn and depending on your type of brain you may need more than what you describe.Good luck with it.About time I did something about this myself.
