I've owned this site for 12 years and I don't think I've ever done this but please do us both a favor (using your words): stop wasting our time and your time. Stop ruining THIS scene for the rest of us.

I love the web site. I just never understood why gays stand at urinals obviously tugging their dicks (just to stand there and look around them) and ruin things when the security or police crack down. That's the story of gay cruising: a place starts out okay, but then is overrun by queens who just want to "exist" at the place--with no intention of doing anything more than wasting time existing at the place, or looking (really just posing)--followed by a crackdown. I just never understood it.

I like cruising for sex (actually connecting with other guys).

I'm not criticising this site, or the people on it.

I've just been bewildered since about age 20 by this weird phenomenon of places that should be great cruising places dying out because a certain element ruins it.

jewelry trade center?

Any comments about this place? It's off Surasak skytrain stop--then walk on Thanon Surasak towards Silom Rd. It's a tall modern building--lower floors are a big shopping center (maybe about 10 floors). I checked this out one time about 9 months ago. I almost had sex with maybe two guys but they seemed to have to run. I went in there hoping to meet a hot Indian guy, or a rich Chinese boy. I'm always on the lookout for a high-quality Chinese Thai.

-- Today, (04th.), a'noon. I had a need to avail of an hawng nahm in CENTRAL SILOM, (BTS.: Sala Daeng, [S2.],),.
- Standing & chatting outside the 4fl. HN. were an IN-house sec. gd. and a member of BKK's. Finest. Inside were a young man washing his hands and an occupied cubicle.
- Afterwards, observing pers. hygiene, I stopped-at the wash-basins and spent a few mins. chatting with an acquaintance who happened to be there, too.
- Outside the policeman was standing 'At Ease.' with that patient & bored expression that such men must accumulate after hours of just watching & waiting.
- Unusual as that's the first time I've seen a policeman apparently ON duty in the store.

-- Today, (11th.), a'noon. my enthusiastic & American friend & I enjoyed beverages, gossip etc. etc. in SILOM COMPLEX SHOPPING PLAZA.
- He mentioned that around 12.nn. that day he'd gone to BIG C. - SAPHAN KWAI looking for a certain brand of cookies and happened to notice that standing outside each of the two hawng nahm was an obvious and purple shirted sec. gd. who scrutinised everybody who entered; unsurprisingly both HN. were Nothing To Report.

Looks like the unrestrained urinal queens ruined that place, too. I wonder what they'll ruin next.

The other thing I could never figure out is the Thai who sit in toilet stalls forever. How do they connect? Is it osmosis? They have no idea who could be sitting next to them. Tapping of feet is a big turnoff! They just want to sit forever. I don't understand what the catalyst is that causes them to connect with someone. I think these psychos might ruin restrooms more than the urinal queens who just want to show their erections (but do nothing else).

Here in USA there used to be a lot of these toilet sitters but that has totally disappeared. I think these weirdos all shifted over to the internet to waste their time and allow them to play their tease and psycho games more anonymously.

-- I hear a goodly number of Thais availing of the cubicles so as to be able to use their cell-'phones.; possibly it's the privacy away from their friends, gps. or from whomever else that they need?

-- Well, in your home country I darewrite that Sen. Larry Craig, (Rep. Idaho.), finally put paid to foot-tapping in what you call quaintly 'Tea rooms.'!

-- One might add that in such places one does have to be careful before establishing contact. If the divider does not come-down all the way to the floor I look under to see how my neighbor is shod - sometimes a not unreliable guide to the person himself.

-- Today, 28th., before and after my massage I cruised-around TESCO-LOTUS at On Nut - nothing to report.

-- Later to BIG C - R'DAMRI.;
- ETA.: 18.15hrs.;
- One hawng nahm quite busy with men relieving themselves, but the rest - apart from a young man busy jacking-off - were all quiet.
- Para-mil'y. Sec. Gds. not too busy & janitresses ditto;
- After about 18.45. hrs. all were nigh on deserted.

Any news about the old Robinson corner at the junction of Suriwong Road? There used to be some very good street trade there and some nice late night takeaway guys.

Sorry I don't know what that corner is called now as I haven't been to BKK in three or four years. I am planning to come in either two weeks' time (if I can get the time off) or April next year and would like to know if anyone's had any luck there recently, however.

I routinely walk around the block Silom - Rama IV - Suriwong - Patpong after midnight -- and it seems like you see the same guys over and over again, and they're not really into pleasing. I'd say they really hang out on darker Rama IV more than Suriwong. I've seen some underage guys on Suriwong but I wouldn't trust them--they seem like total scammers. And I heard there are undercover cops walking around, too--so I think the hustlers are a little hesitant to stand around too long in one place.

-- No news!
- 'Used to be.', (the penalty of becoming older, I fear.), are les mots justes..
- Personally, and although I talk with several of the boyz who hang-around from the olde ROBINSON'S to CHARN ISSARA TWR., I would prefer not to invite them to join me - even in a short-time room.
- Maybe olde age has rendered me MORE cautious?

-- Y'day., 30th., evening I went to BIG C - R'DAMRI. to conclude some business, wch. was despatched soon enoigh.
- A'wards. I cruised-around all of the usual places; apart from a young looking man displaying a c'cised. cock generally there was little enough to catch and/or to hold my att'n.. Quite a fair number of other men there from say just after 17.oo.hrs. until not long after 18.oo.hrs. - then v. few.
- The a/m. young looking man & I met over a cup of coffee & a donut: he hails from the RP., is here on a four months' visa and lives on his own somewhere along Tnn. Sathorn. He lamented on the difficulty of finding like-minded companions; he had not heard of BABYLON SAUNA, for wch. I drew and gave him dir'ns..

-- Anyway, the main point is to alert other cruisers to a newer type of Sec. Gds. on duty there: wearing dk. blue wind-cheaters with RAJDAMRI TEAM embroidered on the back, over tan colored trousers.
- Stay alert: we need MORE lerts - ha! ;)

Does a'm mean american?--and what does RP mean? Odd that he never heard of Babylon. Also, there are a lot of other saunas--I wonder if he ever heard of any saunas? And what does "like minded" companions mean? He has trouble meeting other farangs who are looking for Thai? Odd dude . . .

1.- Above-mentioned;
2.- Republic of the Philipines;
3.- Agreed;
4.- I do not know as he did not elaborate - 'like minded.' were the words used by him.

Thanks for the update, Sextile and Wantasian. I have been getting my Thai fun during short weekend jaunts to Hatyai for the last few years and haven't had the chance to come north for a long time now.
