Traditional Thai massage by men in BKK?
 

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to find massage places for traditional Thai massage by *professional* *male* masseurs in BKK, particularly in Silom area? The sex is not required. And what's the going rate?

You can find many of these massages in Silom area. Just go in and usually, you will be given a male masseur. For an hour, expect at least bht500.

more like Baht500 for two hours (Thai massage)....
plus a small tip Baht70-100...

Silom Massage is good, as is Health Land. Both have male masseurs (traditional Thai massage), and no hanky-panky.

Silom Massage is just below Saladaeng station. Next to OUB Bank.
Charge is about bht500 per hr for oil massage but you can buy a package which cost you bht1200 for 3hrs. You can use it 1hr X3times or 1 1/5 hr X 2 times.... which ever you like. Most of these massage places have this package. Pranee Massage, upstairs from Boots is quite a nice place.

I thought 350 for two hours for Thai massage (in several places in that street off Suriwong opposite Montien was about right (Marble House?)

Next to Silom massage, on the left, is Sabai Thai massage. There you might need your hanky to wipe up the panky if you get the Boy..

I have never tried the Thai traditional massage. It might be slightly cheaper than oil massage but i don't think bht350 for 2hrs. Anyone can reply to silomGWM re this price?

350 baht for two hours is a pretty standard price for Thai massage.

I couldn't resist finishing it...

I find Thai massage is an excellent way to get introduced to a boy who takes your fancy. It is cheap, pleasant and can be considered as fore play for an oil massage. be sure and remove your underpants/briefs when changing into the supplied massage clothing. That way any stirrings will be quickly noticed and acted upon. But really almost all of the boys on display at the shop-style, small, massage places around Silom and especially Surawongse, will welcome being sucked off.

actually can I ask.... what is the difference between thai traditional massage and oil massage? All I ever got was oil massage...

Traditional Thai massage involves pressure on the muscles and technically can be done while fully clothed. Surely you've been in bar when a boy has grabbed your hand and started massaging? That's it, except it's over the entire body and generally lasts 2 hours. As oil reacts badly with my skin, plus the fierceness of the air-conditioning in some places makes me freeze with any sort of liquid massage (oil, cream) I far prefer it. As well, I'm not so focussed on happy endings that I could be bothered with an non-traditional massage

However I'd be interested to hear from people who've been to Bonny Massage in Soi Prostitute. I've never bothered to master the intricacies of what the charge and especially the tip might be, and whether or not there's a happy ending offered or expected

Recently I was in Bangkok on a business trip accompanied by a female colleague about the same age as I am.

We were staying at the Tawana Ramada across the street from the Tarntawan. My lady colleague was going to this massage place just left of the Tarntawan entrance every day after work for a body and foot massage and she was all praise of the quality and service she was receiving.

The last day, I decided to go with her. Of course, they insisted to put us in the same room. Try to explain that she is a colleague and not a partner or wife when my Thai is nil and their English is not much better. Finally we each had a room and this very nice tiny little girl came. Are you the masseuse, I asked and she said yes! I said that I expected a man because I did not think that she would have had the strenght to give me a good massage. So she left and this young man came in. First thing he did is to remove the towel covering my rear end. During the massage the conversation went like this:

- why not same loom?
- not my wife
- same same
- no, no sex with her. I work with her
- are you married?
- you?
- no money
- not married
- do you like boys?
- you?
- laugh but no answer.

He went on with the massage and was obviously trying to bring me some excitement. He turned me around and again was trying to touch me as often as possible without being too obvious. He finally grabbed me and offered a happy ending which I accepted.

I have been wondering since that if I had accepted the girl, would she had offered a happy ending too?

I had a massage at Bonny's in Soi Twilight about two years ago. It was not a happy experience and I have never been back.

Earlier in the day I had seen these cute guys sitting by the door, so later in the evening I thought I'd go and pick one for a massage with a happy ending. How mistaken I was. After going upstairs, (the boys following me), I was asked what massage I wanted and given a price list to look at. I was then taken to a massage room, nothing special, and left. I had expected to be taken to the room the boys were sitting in and offered a choice. Even thought some would be brought to me in the massage room giving me a choice. No boys were brought in to give me this choice. A boy then entered the room with a towel round his waist, said hi, and beckoned for me to get on the table face down. I asked him to take his towel off and at first he was somewhat reluctant. I must have given the impression I was about to leave as he then gave a broad smile and let it drop. The massage was only so-so and after manhandling him for a while he then gave me a hand job, but wasn't that enthusiastic.

The reasons I won't return are;
a) I feel I should have been allowed to choose a boy. They are sitting downstairs by the door enticing punters but disappear into a room just off the reception after taking you upstairs.
b) As twilight is the gay sex area in BKK, am I wrong in taking it for granted that the boys would perform as hoped for?
c) These boys were sitting by the door on the pavement giving me the eye and a smile and letting me think I was on to a good thing if I went up with them. Nothing could be further from the truth. I assume it is a management thing that they choose who your masseur will be.

I don't know if others have had the same experience as me, but as far as I'm concerned it was once too often. There are far better places in Bkk who give a first class service.
No doubt they will continue in business as they will always get newbies to Bkk who are attracted to Soi Twilight and will go down the same path as I did.

It is such a pity. It is in a prime location and they could be inundated with repeat clients if only they gave the same service as the other massage parlours in Bkk.

My sole experience at Bonny was even worse than the one described above. K-Why, just around the corner, is much better if you're looking for full service.

The large cockroaches put me off Bonny - especially the one under the pillow that came out just as I was putting my head down.

K-Why - my only experience there was having selected a real hottie, as I was changing the mamasan wanted the fee and a Bht1,500 tip all paid upfront - explained that thought that did not leave much incentive for good service and left. I assume, Icon, as you recommend it, that that is not normal practice?

Anyone been to 66 at end of Sukhumvit 13. Went last week having seen it in Dreaded Ned. Was not sure if it was going to be a "clean" one or not. Price of 90min massage was Bht1,200 so thought would be clean. But then was able to choose a boy and told tip not included -so assumed not clean. Boy left the room as I showered, kept fully dressed, kept towel over private parts, and kept hand away from anywhere interesting during a very good massage so assumed clean. Right at the end put his crotch next to my hand, his clothes came off and then a Hero/ Albury style. Had 6 masseurs there, very nice rooms with large shower inside etc, boys were of the Banana style. But at BHT1,200 why would you go there rather than Banana?? And seemed I was the only person there.

That is the system at K-Why. You pay 1,500 in advance, of which half goes to the house and half goes to the boy. You are perfectly free (and probably expected) to give the boy an extra 200-500 on top of that, afterwards.

I've had four or five experiences there, all of them very, very good. I gave the boys 200-500 afterward, so their take would be similar to a 1,000 - 1,300 total (commensurate with what the boys get at other places). They appeared to be very happy.

Good thing about this place is that it stays open much later than the other massage places. Last call is either at midnight or 1:00 (not sure which). It's not the fanciest place in town, though, for sure.
