Will be in Bangkok soon again and wonder where to go. What is the latest on our favourites like Nature Boy, Golden Cock, Super A etc.? And what are the hootest shows in town now? Thanks for any reports!

I'm still a big fan of the Jupiter2002 show and I make sure to see it everytime I'm in BKK.

Wish I could give you some good tips, but there ain't much going on. I live in Bangkok and I'd have to say that the current choice of go-go bars is pretty bleak and boring. Aside from the reported "action" in NB and GC, the guys I see working the Bangkok bars have a tired and generic look about them. Okay, I've been going to these places for the past 15 years and maybe I'm jaded, but I haven't been impressed with a local go-go bar in ages. I 'd love to watch good looking guys parade on stage - wearing little or nothing - but what I ain't seeing anything eye catching lately.

I agree with Buzzard. Which is why I'm now spending more time in Pattaya where the boys seem fresher and still fun. BKK is pot luck these days......you'll just have to try them for your self.....the X-boy group in soi twighlight can have some good boys...try the new upstairs go go lounge and if no luck you can take your drink and move to the one downstairs. They are getting expensive. LAst month 2 bars started charging 270 bt entry (with one drink) Boys BKK and the one above it.

Pattaya drinks still 100 to 150 bt max. I stay in Jomtien. Can get great 48sq metre studio apartments with balacony and huge swimming pool at one of the View Talay buildings for 1,000 to 1,250 bt per night. Near gay beach and freedom to bring back who you want when you want.

what about any of the other non-Soi Twilight (sorry, not sure what to call that soi since Twilight changed names) bars? Used to be a place on Soi 2, across the soi from DJ Station but upstairs. Is that still open? Very pleasant little place that hardly ever had any customers. Another bar I haven't visited in years is/was Boy Zone (I think that's the right name), it was located on one of the odd-numbered Silom Sois. It was one of those bars with the occasional hot number but creepy mamasans to ruin the mood.

Boy Zone on Soi 3 (or was it 5) is no more. The bar across from DJ is closed as the premises is taken over by DJ.

Top Man (across from DJ) closed last year. I fondly remember when downstairs was Harry's Bar as well. Also Boy Zone in Soi 3 went last year, (the cutest thing there used to be the little white dog!) Ah, plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose!

Ah, Biggles, you've done it again: memories of Harrie's Bar are now bouncing around in my head. I used to love that place. Some very hot guys used to hang out/work there. And the waiters were pretty sexy too. I really miss that bar. There wasn't anything else quite like it, and nothing has replaced it in terms of ambience, comfort, or atmosphere.
