i am planning to shop around bangkok when i get there. i've heard conflicting reports - some say it is cheaper in bkk while others says the opposite. can any good souls do a price check on the following

1. nikon d300 camera
2. nikon d200 camera
3. oakley romeo 2.0 (non-polarized lens)

i am looking for the original thing, not the ones in jj market or in patpong.

I'm supposed to keep the board free of posts like this (ones not related to CFS). Before I delete it, though, I can definitely tell you that that stuff like that is more expensive here.

Go ahead and delete it but I can confirm you are correct since I own both the D200 and D300. The primary reason they are more expensive is the strong Thai baht exchange rate.
