Advice on Sauna/Spa with Body Scrub

Hey guys, I need some advice. I am a frequent visitor to BKK/Pattaya and I have never found exactly the place I am looking for. I want to find a Sauna/Spa with body scrub. I went to a place in Bali that had a sauna, etc with a male attendant that gave you a body scrub. You lay down in a "wet room" and he scrubed your back and than your front. Help me out guys. It was great!! Is there a place in BKK?
Thanks in advance.

- I'm sure that there may be others with wch. I have no first-hand familiarity.

Re Baan Tewa, 2 friends visited the sauna over the Chinese New Year week-end. Their view? Selection of boys - uninteresting, massage - poor, happy ending - not worth it. They vowed never to return.

My antivirus software informs me that that website tried to place a trojan virus on my computer.

-- Interesting - sorry to read that.
- I checked-out that website before giving BAAN TEWA's data and I've looked at it again just before replying to your posting - no indications of any malware from my various pieces of Software.
- My laptop has the flg. installed: Ad-Aware, AVG. Anti-virus, Spybot S&D. and Zone Alarm; all of wch. have served me well: touch wood; fingers, legs and eyes all crossed - d*mn uncomfortable, but what has to be done ... . I up-date and scan biweekly.

I just got a similar warning from my so-far-very-reliable-and-effective anti virus software, NOD32 Antivirus System:
"Warning: Visiting this site may harm your computer!
The website at Welcom To BaanTewa ..-.._.-* House of Angels contains elements from the site cs.cskick.cn, which appears to host malware – software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer.
For detailed information about the problems with these elements, visit the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page for cs.cskick.cn."

The Best massage is currently offering 2 hours of Thai plus oil massage for Bht550. I have never tried their oil massages because A: The shower is a plastic box and B: I have generally been able to get all the sex I need from the boys during a Thai massage. Presumably, you could off the boys for the same amount and get the full monty. As the place is a "straight" massage joint, the tip is negotiable with the boys...ie performance-related and not a minimum.

-- Thank you for this warning and thanks to Khun YANNAWA for his recommendation.

-- Quite fortuitously on the Techie. pages of today's - 18th. - BKK. Post. 'paper. one of their regular columnists wrote an article recommending various softwares to conter-act malware. Amongst his recommendations are -

1.- Free antivirus - Avira AntiVir
2.- http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
3.- Malwarebytes.org
4.- PC.Tools' Anti-virus free edition 5..

-- E&OE.. -- Usual disclaimers; I have not checked-out any of them personally -- Bibi.. --

i regularly get a body scrub at spa bangkok, or at janpa. i find both satisfying.

hcmpp 28th February 2009 03:33 AM

One of my regular packages is at Apsara - body scrub followed by bath then aroma massage. You get a large room and if you get an active boy the bath gives an extra dimension to the session.

Apsara scrub

Apsara - where is the scrub done? In the massage room with plastic cover over the bed, or in a different room, a wet room?

Apsara scrub

Another question - what does the boy wear when he gives you a bath?

Is my imagination running wild, or is the whole thing worth a try?

hcmpp 1st March 2009 02:24 AM

The body scrub is done in massage room. You may want to specify how long you want if this is what you are really going for - so make it clear at reception that you want at least a 30 minute scrub or whatever.

As previously mentioned in massage thread - Apsara is hit and miss with the boys. The bath is for you to relax in after scrub and before massage. The boy is normally cleaning up room and changing sheets etc. But if you do get what i term an "active" boy then I have had them in the bath with me. But stress again it is hit and miss and other posters on the massage thread have been disappointed with Apsara.
