THE OTHER END - pers. hygiene.
 

-- In another thread we discussed ORAL HYGIENE, (qv.); with my boi-friend enjoying 'Rimming', wch. is not exactly one of my preferences, I'd like to discus ANAL HYGIENE.
- I u'stand. that it's not impossible for the 'Rimmer', (active partner.), to contract an STD./STI. because of the 'Rimmee's', (passive partner.), poor pers. hygiene.
- While I'm sure that many rimmees wash themselves thoroughly with soap & water externally, and may even use their fingers and/or a douche for some internal anal cleanliness yet I really wonder just how infection-free the anus would become?
- Should th rimmee clean himself, externally at least, with an alcohol-swab, (such as is used to clean the skin prior to taking a blood-sample), or should he use some other type of biocide, or should we all assume that soap & water suffice?
- Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Aren't you forgetting the other risk - hermorroids? The risk of blood-borne diseases puts me off.

-- Yes, you're all too correct - but I did not list every possible disease, infection etc. that an incautious Rimmer might contract.
- However, when my Boi-friend offered himself to me for that I did check visually and as carefully as I could that he did not have haemorrhoids or other visible marks.
- I do not Rim casual pick-ups; like you I do not find Rimming enjoyable for myself. :(

First of all, no Thai boy is going to let your mouth go anywhere near his ass he has bleeding hemorrhoids, or regular hemorrhoids for that matter. Second, the main risk is from contact with fecal matter -- the risk is insignificant if the boy has washed since his last bowel movement, which undoubtedly every Thai boy you will have sexual contact has.

If a boy resists you making a move towards his ass, it either means he's just not into it, or more likely, there is something wrong: 'roids, warts, lack of cleanliness, or something else. Do NOT push your way back there if he resists, if you wish to avoid contact with something unpleasant.

That's my advice for you.

My 2 bobs worth. These are just some of my ideas & thoughts accumulated along the way. The most likely things to pick up are parasitic infections like worms and such like if you get some pooh. Obviously if he cleans this is going to help but 'them microbes is microbes' as the saying should go and if he has an infection you will not necessarily see 'm as they are microbes!! My personal preference is for it 'as it is' to avoid the 'lux or shampoo rim' but then I've always liked the rough tattoo-type boys...

Giardia is a common one lives in the intestines and will cause you diarrhoea. The best treatment for these types of infections if you are sure is to take a 'fasygyn bomb' so-called which is 4 tablets 500mg ea so 2gms all up taken once. No grog and plenty of rest. Being tinidazole it pretty much always works if you are reasonably healthy. Also usually taken for 'gurgle guts' which is a symptom of giardia. You can buy from local apothecary for 120bahties... Side effects are a crappy tasting in the mouth and sometimes candidal infections (like toejam in the crotch or bum) so keep a tube of daktarin on hand for those dark moist spots on your body.

What else...? Well it is possible to get herpes if his anal mucosa is infected and 'out' or on its way. And then the ole favourite HIV but there has to be blood and you have to have cuts in your mouth but then with HIV there also needs to be an 'amount' so probably unlikely.

The sort of good news (being a passionate rimmer of long standing [?kneeling or reclining)]) is that if you get a bug once from your mate you don't seem to get it again. All to do with immune system being able to recognise the bug 2nd time around etc.

Sometimes one just can't help oneself. I remember 2 'soldier boys' coming into a certain venue theatre much reviewed in this forum. One is far more likely to catch something nasty by rimming a farang. Thai men are exceedingly clean.

In Muslim and many Asian cultures, one washes thoroughly after doing his business, whereas in the West it is customary only to wipe with tissues. It is obvious which is more clean and hygienic.

Better still - instead of having western-style seats to have 'Squatters.' wch. make egestion far easier and much LESS of a physical strain.

Rimming & penetration
 

I am quite surprised at how many Thai boys actually take the initiative to do rimming. I have always been embarrassed when they did it on me because of the hygiene issue. On another point, I have noticed after penetrating a boy, sometimes I find the condom covered with brown stains -- faeces -- yuk!! Yet another point: I have once been told by a doctor that while urine is sterile, faeces is not, so you'd have to be careful.

- Walking along the River Severn's bank I met some young man who offered me the Final Favor, wch. I accepted. I wished that I hadn't.; after withdrawing I saw that my **** was covered in faeces; gross :( I must allow that I was seriously concerned for several weeks thereafter in case I'd contracted some foul disease - fortunately not, much to my relief.

Alcohol wipes on the anus? OUCH!! I think that one belongs on the S&M thread!!

I think rimming is over rated, both giving and getting. But when I do rim, if it's smelling like a big turd, then I don't bother licking.
