Possibly time to start a fresh thread??

Has anyone been to Vassa? Good experience ?

I assume it's still operating which suggests they must be generating some business, but the few reports that I've read indicate that the message writer looked in, saw only a few bored boys talking on their mobiles and therefore the writer turned around and left without sitting down.

Is it that bad?
Anyone have anything positive to say?

Anyone see the alleged sexy shows staged at Star Boys on MWF nights? Looking at their ad in Max Magazine, all the boys look awfully twinky.

Well that's the problem, not much is available on the place. I've walked by it a few times, but I never felt like getting sucked into a place where I felt obliged to get a drink and then slip away if the boys weren't my type... on the other hand something Biggles wrote in March 2008 intrigued me.

New Star Boys now has one of the better looking collections.
Dynamite also lots of well fed twinks and fun show (same dwarf trannie there)
Vassa worth a look for the rougher farm boy types

Vassa is the sort of bar you can almost walk past without noticing. Its the only bar in the soi joining the 2 Pattayaland sois, (next door to my usual guai-dtiao stall that serves fresh herbs with the noodles Vietnamese style) but very easy to find as a stroll from Sawasdii Boys to Boystown will take you right past it. I've only offed 2 boys from there, one a "farm boy" and the other more of a twink, but I suggest if you are passing early one night (about 8.30 to 9 pm) and feel like a cheap beer and a squint, stick your head in. The boys are on a tiered stage, and the customers on tiered benches opposite and the boys start flirting as soon as you sit down. Sanook !

Low season is taking it's toll. In Jomtien, Rock Hard has closed while in Sunnee, Happy has decided to take a break (back in September) CockTail and Sundance are closed (not sure if permanent) but Euro boys is back. Jomtien beach is quite blustery and attendance is down.
Dropped into Vassa last night ... poor collection of boys on offer, while back in Sunnee Tom Yam boys keen to show their assets. One started j/o in front of me so I invited him to sit beside me & fingered him while he jerked himself till he came, in full view.

Logging on to Gay Romeo yesterday I immediately got about a dozen unsolicited hits, including one 20 y.o. offering "400bt everything - OK?" Lots of specials on offer !
