Sauna near to hua lampong.
 

-- My elderly & American acquaintance, who visited ChinaTown's one remaining suck-cinema today, (05th.), told me that another Thai voyeur there mentioned a sauna nr. to HUA LAMPONG RLY. STN..
- My acquaintance didn't recognise or remember its name.
- Does anyone else here know of it?

I see 2 possibilties:
1.the burnt down older Chinese-aiming one in nearby Chinatown
2.not near HLpong-but near SamSen trainstation=the next one going out, Grey Gymnastics.
Both were/are mainly aimed at the ''not so young anymore'' customer group.

#2. I see, from my BKK. City Atlas., that SAMSEN RLY. STN. is approx. 2.75.M. away from HUA LAMPHONG.
- I'll nudge my acquaintance to try to obtain MORE info..

To get to GSM cross the road from Hua Lum Phong & then over the bridge, second left is Tri Met Road with the stunning refurbished Wat. Go the end and TR into Charoen Krung Rd and walk about 1-2 kms so probably not this one. Alternatively jump on a 507 blue bus and ask for Yawarat. Of course sniff sniff GSM does not open until Feb ?10 ?11 who knows?

-- Possibly the man who advised me that GSM. SAUNA would re-open in the new year meant the Ch. NY.? It is in ChinaTown, after all.
- In 2553BE. the Ch. NY. will be on 14 feb., (coincidentally St. Valentine's Day! Two for the price of one. ;-)), :)

I believe that Heaven Sauna and/or Sauna Mania would be the two closest saunas to Hua Lumphong...but I would not describe either's location as being in proximity to it.
