PJ's vs Lavender

I'm considering going to Chiang Mai at the end of February for about 4-5 days. I've previously stayed at PJ's and thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to return. However, I am now considering Lavenders.

There has been discussion on both of these establishments. Anything new to share? Yannawa, my friend, you know what I like. Your input would be most appreciated.

Hi Gin Guy,

I have been twice to Lavender but never to BJs. But without hesitation, I know you will be VERY happy at Lavender...they stock your type and size in every department.

It had lost a little of it's sparkle on the second visit, but the boys were just as good. See them on the web site under the massage section. Those guys will be at the pool by and large. Even if you want to stay at BJs (I guess it is cheaper), you can use the pool and facilities for Bht20 and see the show.

On my last visit, I was still surprised to see they had made no attempt to clean the windows on the outside. The whole place resembles SuvanaBoom when it was first opened.

These are two very different establishments. Although I have seen, en route to Chiang Mai Ram, Lavender, I've never stayed there but it's very unlikely that you will get the sort of personal service that you get at PJ's Place, where I have stayed many times. I don't know how good the glazing is but I suspect it could be quite noisy on that busy corner.
If you do decide to go to Lavender, please report back... or even if you decide not to go there!
