Ubon Ratchathani
 

Hello all,

I’ll be visiting Ubon Ratchathani next month and was hoping to get updates on cursing areas/gay bars/saunas. Are Silver Pub and Relaxing Sauna and Spa still there?

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I have not gone to Ubon since a long time but from some recent information on a thai webboard, this is what I could get.
- Siver Pub has been closed by police
- Relaxing Sauna should still be there although their website is down ; very close to Moon River (Phromarat Soi 1 - finding it is said to be quite challenging)
- There is a gay bar called Famous Bar with Coyotee dancers (never read about it on any gay board however) near Regent Palace Hotel in the area of Talaat Hok - more on Ubon bars and pubs
- There should be a karaoke in a hotel in the outskirts, but I have no more information.
- House of boys on the west end of Phrommarat Street behind Prakuman School, mostly for thai people
- Cruising areas : Thung Sri Muang Park - AYOR (mostly dek waen) ; I saw cute hustlers many years ago in the building where there are games near Nevada Hotel and disco.

Oh and making this post just made me think I should urgently include Ubon in my next trip schedule ...
