Anybody has suggestions or info about the current state of gay affairs in Manila?

I'll be there in a few weeks and would like to meet some cute twinks/rentboys/gogoboys. I'm not really one to visit tearooms etc. Also wondering if they have short time hotels there, like here in Bangkok?

- Should these elections be like most other elections then one might expect the counting, re-counting and all of the other shenanigans, retributions etc. etc. to continue for a good few weeks afterwards.
- Possibly not the best time to visit either MNL. or any of the other major cities and/or centres?
