-- To facilitate easier ref. to popular places such as massage parlors I'm starting a new thread for CLIMAX 99 MASSAGE;
- Prev. refs. in MASSAGE VENUES' thread: postings #1,148. & #1,181.;

-- I visited y'day., (02nd.)., ETA.: 19.50.hrs.;
- A M'San., speaks good English, & some half-a-dozen masseurs sitting o'side.;
- I decided-upon a 60mins'. oil-massage for 400.Bh., and chose Khun Luk - early 20s., tallish & next to no figure, hails from Chiang Mai; speaks ltd. English - with whom I've spoken before;
- I enquired and was told that there are HOT-water showers;
- Upstairs to the massage-room: approx. 06'.x08'., walls approx. 07'. high; mattress, with clean linen on the floor;
- Masseur Luk & I showered together - COLD water - ugh! :-(
- The massage was but so-so; little att'n. being paid to those parts ... ;
- Having turned-over it was time to enjoy something extra; well - just between us girls - Khun Luk wasn't forward when assets were being handed-out; it took him a v. long time before ... .
- A final & joint COLD water shower;
- Downstairs, in the comfortably furnished Recept'n. area I was offered a cup of the trad. & hot herbal tea;
- I spoke with the M'San., khun Phet, about the COLD water shower.
- I enquired about Khun Luk's massage skills and was told that he's a newbie and is still learning the strokes etc. etc.; to wch. I replied that he appears to be anxious to please - a good point!
-- Being but recently OPENED e'thing. looks clean; although my Op. & Maint'ce. eyes suggest that many small points had been skimped - but not my problem;

I visited last night and was attended by a pleasant young lad - I was asked if I wanted a choice but he seemed agreeable, and I thought it would be rude to reject him so I went with the flow.
As K Sextile said, everything is nice and new, no real comments or complaints.
This guy was also a newbie - evident from him pouring half a gallon of cold oil directly onto my back, then regularly sloshing more about my body.
He had absolutely no idea what he was doing - his hands were like scalextric cars going round and round the same slippery circuit. There was a loudly ticking clock close to my head - I took to counting the seconds to try to relieve the boredom.
When I was asked to turn over, the same routine continued, however he started to get a bit more adventurous, before asking if he could play a bit with little spoonfed. Despite my ennui, I agreed then with little effort managed to coax him to shed his layers, and then he really showed his talents - very enthusiastic, no mention of cash at any point and certainly eager to please. Once it was all over we showered together.
I asked the lady on reception why she does not offer these guys training and she apologised, saying that she would train him, before asking if I have received a massage before (I presume that massage is not really their intent?).
Sorry - forgot to ask the boy's name...

The shower unit was initially turned to 'min' - a swift clockwise rotation and the water heated up, although the pressure dropped markedly.

I remembered after I wrote my original message that I had asked the guy's name - to my ears it sounded like Larry...

I was there myself tonight and finally rather diappointed.
To summarize usual items quickly :

masseur assigned, no choice offered
showered alone (yes with hot water)
masseur kept all his clothes (his jeans !!)
when i turn over, he offered extra service which in his mind could be no more than a handjob
at my request, got naked but reluctantly ...

on the good side, massage itself was average to good (6/10 to my standard)

Perhaps there should be a published punters check list, something like a pilots check list. Perhaps it could be called 'The Punters Operational Manual'.

Item 285 - Check if the water heater is turned on.
Item 286 - Check if the flow of water is constant and the temperature is consistently hot.

But somehow this seems to miss the point that some punters make prefer cold water, but then again maybe hot water is compulsory.
