One of the stalls in one of the restrooms in Fortune Town shopping center (connected to Phra Ram 9 MRT (subway) stop) has a big glory hole--but I think you'll probably have a Thai sit-queen hogging the other side (if both sides aren't already being hogged). I've never had any desire to seek out glory holes for this reason (permanent hogging by unattractive sit-queens).

Fortune is a pretty big place. Where are those gloryholes? Which floor?

I am guessing it will be the basement level (3 possible toilets) or the first floor (Above the ground floor...maybe it's called 2nd). In the basement, there are about 5 massage places with boys...Yukos has two locations and the best boys. There is one youngish lad at a massage place further up toward the Tesco Lotus end, opposite a steak restaurant, who will get down and dirty during a Thai massage if you can barter him down in price. He spends quite a lot of time lurking in the adjacent toilet if he sees a guy go in that he likes. He is short but has a large dick.
Some of the Yuko boys will play around. On the first floor, there is the White Elephant massage joint with fine lads outside...they are playful and a lot of fun but so far only two have dropped their pants. They also spend a bit of time in the toilet on their floor. |

Fortune has BF floor where many of the foot massage joints are. The toilets are relatively small and don't seem to have any glory holes.
The next floor up (at ground level more or less), or 1st floor as per their designation, has what seemed to me yesterday, to be a very cruisy toilet with nearly all the stalls full with many people looking and waiting. The cubicles were mostly all in use so i couldn't see if any gholes. The busy toilet was the one nearest to the hotel end. One of the 2nd floor cubicles did have a 1 inch hole in one wall but few people. The 3rd floor toilet nearest the hotel seemed to have an air of expectation and there were two guys outside "reading" comic books waiting to follow in any likely guy. needless to say, they didn't follow me in! |
BIG C - Om yai ...
-- Today, (18th.), a'noon. I visited a former boi-friend in his hair-dressing salon by BIG C - Om yai;
- 'Where is Om Yai?'; - Well, let's write that I make the Google Earth's co-ords. to be roughly 100-16-31.E.x13-42-31.N.,(but I'm prepared for corr'ns. on this.); - My Bangkok City Atlas. - ISBN.: 9 789749 440780. - shews it towards the TOP LEFT in the yellow area on p.25.; - Or to put it another way the return - IN-bound - 'bus.-journey took all of 01Hr.&50mins., (mostly along Phet Kasem rd.), back to SANAM LUANG; a distance of some 18M.; the 'fare. bring just 08.Bh.! -- BIG C - Om yai has but two hawng nahm that I saw in my walking & looking - 1. - GF.: Enter the mall by its main ent'ce., and continue towards the Food Ct., wch. is situated towards the back, turn RIGHT at the S&P. shop,(RHS.), and RIGHT again; (there are the usual int'l signs hanging-down from the ceiling.); - There are smallish holes in many - but not all - of the cubicles' partitions, wch. are roughly 08ins. above the floor-level, (under wch. a slim-bodied Thai could easily slither!), and are approx. 7'.06". high - with no ext'ns. on top! 2. - 1fl., (US. 2nd. floor.), no holes seen. -- I visited twice: approx. 15. & 17.hrs.; - While there was plenty of eye-candy in the shopping space those availing of the facilities were mostly of riper years. One lewd fellow of the baser sort followed me IN on the 1fl., took an adjacent cubicle and started making all too obvious gestures beneath the partition: :( -- Although prices in gen'l. appeared to be cheaper than in Cen't. BKK., and there are small peep-holes for the Tea-room Queans, not really worth the journey; but maybe week-ends might be more fruitful? |
oh, dear Sextile-you are now really exploring the furthest reaches of this big city. Incidentally, on sat 20/11 I made the same trip as far out as Omm NOI (=small), near the junction of the Sai 5 and Kratum Baen roads. Intended to visit the (among Thai) =famous weekend market at Wat Kingkaew). Bus AC547 from Silom goes as far, as do the 84 and the 123 (from Snm Luang). Had I seen your report, I would have stopped off for a sneek peek.
Did you note that extraordinary nr of upgraded and spruced up short-time hotels along that stretch of Phetkasem road? |

-- Agreed, I thought that 'bus. AC547. went thither from Si Lom rd.; but having waited MORE than half-an-hr. on thursday early a'noon., (o'side. the Duke of Well'n. 'pub.), I gave-up and took a red 'bus. #15. to SANAM LUANG and then a #80.. -- Let's remember, too, that out in that dir'n. lies SOR SUPERMAN, (MASSAGE VENUES - #1155.). |
Glory holes seem to be disappearing all over Bangkok. On the other hand, two or three people crowding into a toilet has become the norm in many places, from Robinson Ratchada to Laksi Plaza to Lotus Onnut. And of Course, there would be guys standing up, on the adjacent toilet, peering into the next one from the top of the partitions.

I see it as a leading economic indicator.
When times are tough, buildings let their maintenance go to pot -- and holes remain unrepaired. The period of the Asian financial crisis in the late 90's was a great golden age of poorly maintained public facilities. When times are good, owners don't mind investing in upkeep. I think times are pretty good right now, from the general state of repair of the Kingdom's washrooms. |
