I stayed at Akmani, nice but a bit above your price range (3500 THB/night). Several other cheaper hotels along Jl Wasad Hasyim are cheaper There are two low budget Ibis Hotels. Hotels nearer to the sauna (Nikko Mandarin etc.) all much more expensive. Go to Agoda or Trip Advisor and search for hotel on Jl Wasad Hasyim.
